Peck recruits and retains best-in-class faculty and intentionally invests in them as lifelong learners and role models for students. All teachers are trained in Harvard University’s Agency by Design framework of teaching and learning, which focuses on looking closely, exploring complexity, and finding areas for opportunity.
Peck faculty also enjoy robust professional development in the form of conferences, courses, and grants–and they are encouraged to delve into a “deep dive” every four years on a professional topic of their choosing.
Peck teachers prioritize developing authentic connections with their students and fostering an environment where students can safely explore who they are, bring their whole self to school, and celebrate the uniqueness of those around them.
The Peck School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
