Peck recruits and retains back-in-class faculty and intentionally invests in them as lifelong learners and role models for students. All teachers are trained in Harvard University’s Agency by Design framework of teaching an dlearning, which focuses on looking closely, exploring complexity, and finding areas for opportunity.
Peck faculty also enjoy robust professional development in the form of conferences, courses, and grants–and they are encouraged to delve into a “deep dive” every four years on a professional topic of their choosing.
Peck teachers prioritize developing authentic connections with their students and fostering an environment where s students can safely explore who they are, bring their whole self to school, and celebrate the uniqueness of those around them.
