A timeless, traditional approach to art education meets innovative teaching and modern technique in the Gr. K-4 art studio. Students explore a wide variety of media, and are exposed history's greatest artists through stories, presentations, and thematic projects.
The Discovery Zone: explores the intersections of art, engineering, and design with design-thinking challenges using materials of students' choosing. They may work independently or collaboratively in this self-driven creative process.
Public Exhibits: Student work is often shown in public exhibits, such as was shown at The Morris Museum, Nordstroms at the Short Hills Mall, and in various local restaurants and businesses.
Cross-curricular: Art classes are often integrated with projects from other disciplines. These cross-curricular opportunities give students a deeper, more immersive experience and a fresh perspective on culture, aesthetic, and artistic expression.
