Research and Writing in Fifth Grade
Fifth graders have taken a giant step in their educational journey by writing their first research papers on ancient Egypt.
As part of their history curriculum, students have been learning about the land of the pharaohs and its rich cultural heritage. Now, they are putting their newfound knowledge to the test by researching and writing about specific topics related to ancient Egyptian civilization.
Under the guidance of History Teachers Ms. Longenecker and Mr. Carlo, students have been working diligently in the library and on the computer to gather information and sources for their papers. They have been taught the importance of using reliable sources, taking notes, and properly citing their work.
