The Peck School Pin is a cherished symbol of graduation and achievement for eighth-grade students
The All-School Pinning Ceremony, which dates back over a century, marks a significant moment for the graduating eighth graders as they transition from students to alumni of the school. It is a meaningful event celebrating our students, and the school’s rich history and traditions.
The small golden pin, featuring the letters "PS" intertwined, serves as a reminder of the time spent at the school, the friendships made, and the hard work and dedication put in to earn their diploma. It is something that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
The ceremony is led by the Head of School, Mr. Delinsky, who opens the event detailing the ceremony’s history, and personally hands out the pins to each student. The handshake he gives each student is a symbol of the school's recognition of their achievements and entry into the alumni community.
Congratulations to all the students who received their Peck School Pin!
