Leadership Opportunities

Become a leader at Peck

At Peck, leadership is developed and honed by doing: through appropriate risk-taking, self-reflection, and collaboration.

At Peck, we believe leadership is about knowing yourself—and knowing that each person leads differently. We help students identify their interests and talents, guiding them to leverage their strengths for the benefit of the community.

Leadership Begins in Lower School

Leadership knows no age limit, which is exactly why we encourage our Lower School students (K-4) to dive into leadership opportunities early on. Imagine a fourth grader taking charge at the lunch table, or mentoring a younger student as a school buddy. These roles aren't just for show; they're real chances for growth.

And it doesn’t stop there—when they stand up and present at school assemblies, they’re not just talking; they’re boosting their confidence and honing their public speaking skills. All these experiences are building blocks, setting them up for a lifetime of leadership and success.

As a school, we instill a sense of leadership in our students that is grounded in our belief in showing consideration of, and for, others. This type of leadership is uniquely valuable in today's world, which is rife with opportunities for progress and change.Andy Delinsky, Head of School
