  • Little Makers Design Challenges (ages 3-6), Oct. 13 & Dec. 1

Join your child for a hands-on design challenge in our newly-renovated Kindergarten building. Each Little Makers class is inspired by a popular children’s book, and pairs parents with their children in the fun task of imagining, designing, and building a “real-world” solution for a fictional character.

Designed for children ages 3-6, these events teach children that there is more than one way to solve a problem—and to have fun doing it, too! These 90-minute classes are led by our expert Kindergarten teachers, and are offered in the fall and winter.

We encourage you and your child to register for one of these innovative, hands-on opportunities, and experience what learning is like at Peck! All events are free and open to the public. Due to limited space, early registration is highly recommended.

Parent Visit and Tour

The parent visit is a helpful step in exploring the possibility of Peck for your child.  Typically one hour long, these private visits with a member of our Admissions Team provide time for parents to ask questions and share specific information about their child, to observe classes and tour campus, as well as allow our Admissions Team to get to know your family better.  We ask that children do not accompany their parents for this visit.  To schedule your parent visit, contact Wanda Fiorini at wfiorini@peckschool.org.

An Aerial View of Peck

For her eighth grade capstone project, alumna Sofia Kasparik '17 used a drone to create an aerial tour of the Peck campus. “I chose this because I thought it would be a fun and interesting way to show off Peck’s beautiful campus,” she said. Sofia researched and chose a drone, learned how to pilot it, researched regulations and obtained a permit, and then filmed and edited her video. For more on The Peck School's eighth grade capstone lab, read this blog post from Director of Curriculum and Faculty Development, Chris Weaver.
