Third Grade Hosts a State Spectacular

On Friday, third graders showcased their much-anticipated State Spectacular! Families, faculty, and staff embarked on a cross-country journey—without ever leaving the Peck Multipurpose Room—as they explored 40 student-created exhibits celebrating states from across the nation.

Each third grader "adopted" a U.S. state at the start of the school year and spent months researching its geography, history, state symbols, famous landmarks, traditional foods, and more. Their hard work was on full display through colorful presentations, creative visuals, and enthusiastic conversations with visitors.

The annual event offered students an exciting opportunity to showcase their research while sharing what makes each state unique. From coast to coast, the State Spectacular was a wonderful celebration of curiosity, learning, and the diverse culture that makes up our nation.
