Smiles were wide and curiosity was high as Peck kindergarteners welcomed a special guest in honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month—Peck parent and dentist Dr. Matt Crystal!
Dr. Crystal led an engaging and interactive Q&A session, answering all kinds of questions from our inquisitive young learners. From "How often should you visit the dentist?" to "What happens if you swallow toothpaste?" and even the creative inquiry, "How many teeth does the Tooth Fairy have?"—no topic was off-limits!
Beyond answering their burning questions, Dr. Crystal emphasized the vital connection between dental hygiene and overall health. He even brought along a dental model, giving students the chance to practice their brushing skills and reinforce good habits in a fun, hands-on way.
And, of course, no visit to the dentist would be complete without some special goodies! Dr. Crystal sent each child home with a bag full of dental essentials—including toothbrushes, toothpaste, and even chapstick—to keep those kindergarten smiles shining bright.
A big thank you to Dr. Crystal for making dental health both educational and exciting for our students!
