Consideration of others entails treating those around us with respect, kindness, and willingness to help our friends and classmates. The Peck Upper School community recently announced their fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade recipients of the fall Consideration of Others Awards, voted on by their classmates and teachers.
“It’s easy to be kind when life is easy. It’s far more important and more difficult to reach out, to practice kindness, gratitude, and respect, and to match your values with action when things aren’t quite going your way. But that is the mark of a community: what its members do when things are hard or the chips are down,” said Interim Head of the Upper School Virginia Savage.
