Peck translates its strategic AI principles into responsible, practical actions across the school. The AI Task Force helps guide and coordinate this ongoing work, bringing together educational and operational perspectives across four key areas:
- Teaching & Learning: Evaluating AI platforms for personalized learning and teacher support, developing AI curriculum, establishing guidelines and norms for the appropriate use of AI.
- Student Safety, Privacy & Responsible Access: Carefully evaluating technology for age and developmental appropriateness, educational value, privacy, and security. This includes providing students with protected, school-approved AI environments and responsibly using AI-enhanced filtering and security tools to help safeguard students, school devices, and the campus community.
- School Effectiveness & Communication: Streamlining administrative workflows using secure tools.
- Future-Proofing Our Community: Investing in continuous professional development, including monthly "Tech Tuesdays," to equip our faculty with ongoing pedagogical and ethical AI skills.
