Happy Hanukkah to all those who celebrate! During the holiday, we have been learning about the history and traditions of Hanukkah in our classrooms and assemblies!
On Wednesday, Dec. 1, and Friday, Dec. 3, our kindergarteners gathered together with their fourth-grade buddies to learn about one of the many Hanukkah traditions: playing dreidel! Although these dreidels weren't made with clay, and we used pennies in lieu of gelt, we all had so much fun yelling "Gimel!" with our friends to celebrate this wonderful holiday.
