What is Friends, Fitness and Philanthropy?
Friends, Fitness and Philanthropy is a fundraiser run bi-annually by the Peck Parents Association that is intended to solely benefit a local or national charitable organization. This year's event is open to everyone, from our parent and alumni communities to friends, family, and the general public.
We welcome you to join us this year in your workout clothes for a group exercise experience followed by a healthy lunch and speaker series. (Class descriptions are below.) Guest speakers will include a Special Olympic athlete and coach pair to speak about the importance of athletics in building self-esteem and life-long health. Peck alumna and current parent Carter Abbott '89, Athletic Director of the Pingry School, will also join us to talk about athletics for children and the role they play in development.
When purchasing event tickets, participants may also sign up for a morning wellness class (optional; descriptions below), purchase raffle tickets, and/or make a donation to Special Olympics NJ.
Event tickets are $100 and include a morning wellness class of your choice (optional), and our FFP luncheon and speaker series.
At the end of our event, we will be raffling off three custom baskets designed to promote healthy minds and healthy bodies! Raffle tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100 and can be purchased in advance. Attendance is not mandatory; winners will be notified via email.
