Our Vision
The Peck School sets the standard for excellence in K-8 education, where academic preparation and character development intersect powerfully in the learning experience. By embedding consideration of others, service, and belonging in all that we do, we are designing an integrated approach to education that develops curious and disciplined learners who positively shape the world.

Deeply Rooted: Peck's Strategic Plan
Deeply Rooted, Peck’s 2022 Strategic Plan, builds upon the mission and core principles that have long defined a Peck education while looking thoughtfully toward the future.
Organized around three pillars—Learning, Character, and Community—the plan is deeply rooted in Peck’s longstanding commitment to character education and consideration of others, and in our belief that who students become is as important as what they learn. It carries that commitment forward through thoughtful stewardship, continual refinement, and the faithful pursuit of our mission.
As the educational landscape evolves, Deeply Rooted also provides a foundation for responding thoughtfully to new opportunities and challenges. Current priorities, including Peck’s thoughtful approach to artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, build upon these pillars, ensuring that innovation strengthens academic rigor, character development, student agency, and the human relationships at the heart of a Peck education.
Leadership & Governance
The Peck School’s leadership team and Board of Trustees are two of its greatest strengths. They bring together diverse groups of engaged and informed individuals to act as role models for our students. Our Board is composed of community leaders, often current and past parents, alumni, and education professionals. They ensure sound governance and clear vision and carefully steward, sustain, and perpetuate the school’s mission.
Our leadership team members are expert educators and administrators who continually assess the pedagogy, program, and curriculum of the school as well as manage the support and safety of our students on a daily basis.
