Andy Delinsky
Additional Roles at Peck: Grade 8 English Teacher, Grade 6 Leadership & Entrepreneurship Teacher
Andy Delinsky became The Peck School’s 11th Head of School in 2014, bringing seventeen years of independent school leadership experience, most recently as Assistant Head of School and Upper School Principal at The Bullis School in Potomac, MD.
Since then, he has led two strategic plans, a campus master plan, and a $13 million capital campaign that transformed facilities, created The Peck Commons and Idea & Design Labs, added a community garden, enhanced playgrounds, and renovated learning spaces. He evolved the curriculum to strengthen academics and belonging, guided Peck through the COVID-19 pandemic, championed an athletics field renovation, and built key community partnerships.
Well known across campus, he connects with students daily—from greeting each by name, reading to younger classes, teaching, or joining in games and events—fostering a warm, close-knit school that celebrates tradition while embracing innovation. He serves as Vice President of the NJAIS Board of Trustees and is a board member at The Rivers School outside of Boston. He is also a faculty member for NJAIS' Emerging Leadership Institute.
A teacher at heart, Mr. Delinsky teaches Upper School public speaking and leadership classes, chaperones field trips, cheers on our athletic teams, and usually leads sat least one Upper School activity per year. He is also the proud parent of a Peck alum and two current Peck students.
