Our Associate Teacher Program is an immersive opportunity for emerging educators in elementary education. How Does the Program Work?
This two-year program pairs Associate Teachers with experienced teachers in Peck's Lower School (grades K-4). The second year of the program is based on performance and mutual agreement with the school. Under the mentorship of a homeroom teacher, and that of our Administration, you will refine your teaching technique and strategies, collaborate with leading educators, and regularly reflect on your teaching practice. As you grow in skill and experience, you will take on increasing responsibility in the classroom—participating in the breadth of experience needed to become a confident homeroom teacher.
