A Stronger Connection to Morristown
Peck has a long history of community service and partnership with various nonprofits, businesses, and philanthropic initiatives that operate locally, nationally, and globally. These relationships provide a framework that heightens students' global awareness—prompting them to understand that they belong to a greater, more complex, and interconnected community. Through service-learning initiatives, Peck brings its culture of Consideration of Others to the wider world.

Save the Date for Service
Service-learning isn't just limited to our students. The Peck Parents Association Service Committee invites our entire community to support local Morris County organizations that support underserved communities.
This year, we invite all members of the Peck community to acknowledge Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Monday, Jan. 20) by participating in our Day of Service!

The Peck PA hosts a winter Day of Service to benefit Morris County organizations that support underserved populations. -
Pasta for Preschool
Seventh graders annual host a pasta dinner fundraiser to benefit their service learning partner, Preschool Advantage -
Pasta for Preschool
During the seventh grade's Pasta for Preschool fundraiser, students typically raise enough to support high-quality preschool tuition for 2-3 Morristown-area children. -
Friends, Fiction, & Philanthropy (FFP)
Every other year, the Peck Parents Association hosts a philanthropic event to exclusively support a local or national non-profit organization. The event name's middle "F" changes to reflect the event's theme and beneficiary. -

At the PA's 2019 FFP event supported Special Olympics New Jersey, and Peck students were able to meet two gold medalists. -
Kindergarten Bread Baking
Just before Thanksgiving, Kindergartners bake bread that they gift to Peck community members. -

Community Service Award winners may even be high school students who are putting forth extraordinary effort to support their communities. These award winners show our students that even in high school, young people can have a tremendous positive impact on their communities. -
