Completing Peck’s Facilities Master Plan
The Peck School is committed to its fourteen-acre campus in Morristown, New Jersey, and completion of our Facilities Master Plan, adopted in 2002, will ensure that the School we hand down to future generations will be as strong as the one we inherited over 100 years ago.
PHASE ONE: The Campaign for Peck marked a critical step in the history of The Peck School. The 35,000 square foot EH Academic Building was dedicated in October 2006. Physically connecting the F.M. Kirby Family Lower School with the Caspersen-Tomlinson Upper School, the main feature of this building is the state-of-the-art library and multi-media all purpose room. The entire lower level is devoted to music, fine arts, and woodshop, while the upper level includes classroom space and a common area for student gatherings and meetings. On the other side of campus, the fabulous 32,000 square foot athletic center opened in January 2007. The Manzo Lower Gymnasium was dedicated in September 2007.
PHASE TWO: The former gymnasium/auditorium, kitchen, and dining hall will be razed to make room for construction of a new cafeteria & auditorium complex. A large group meeting room will be added to the existing F.M. Kirby Family Lower School.
As we move through the first decade of the 21st century, we will continue to strengthen and expand our academic programs and enhance our infrastructure.
